Retail Client Associate
Mayker is looking for a dependable, resourceful, and self-motivated Retail Client Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who delights in multi-tasking, and has equal love for client services and operations.
As an RCA, you care about creating an authentic experience of excellence for each guest through personalized service, product education, and representing the Mayker brand and mission. You’re excited to be a knowledgeable resource for customers, and you take pride in building genuine relationships through every interaction—whether that be through selling new product, composing a gift, or getting a used piece into a new home.
Beyond client-facing work, you’re a true enthusiast of product organization and presentation. You’ll oversee the in-store experience, leading our gifting services and managing used furniture sales operations to ensure each aspect of the retail experience is thoughtfully executed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Operate independently in our store, delivering excellent customer service to every guest
Maintain a visually inviting, clean, and organized store that aligns with Mayker’s aesthetic
Handle new product tagging, replenishing stock on the floor, and ensuring store accuracy
Lead our brand gifting services, overseeing packaging, presentation, and fulfilling customer orders
Take ownership of our used furniture sales, from online listing to client interaction and final sale
WHAT TO KNOW
This is an hourly position with a starting rate of $16-$18 per hour. Bonuses are available for meeting sales goals.
The shop is open Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Weekends are a must.
Mayker’s flagship is a small interior design and home goods shop based in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood. One associate is the only one in the shop at a time and there is often minimal traffic, so it’s essential that you love to work independently, believe in small business, and are an excellent communicator. While you should be excellent in a client-facing setting, you should also love and be excited about owning a large portion of retail logistics and computer-facing work.
