Marketing and Media Assistant
Mayker is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing and Media Assistant to join our team. This position is central to our digital product management and marketing efforts, with a focus on ensuring seamless, accurate representation of our products on Shopify and supporting campaign coordination. As a Marketing and Media Assistant, you’re driven by precision and creativity, bringing our digital presence to life while staying true to the Mayker brand.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Add new products to Shopify with accurate descriptions, images, and details
Conduct regular product audits on Shopify, ensuring information accuracy, pricing, and availability
Assist in the creation and execution of marketing assets, including digital content for social media and email, utilizing Canva templates, Klaviyo, Shopify, and Buffer
Develop and maintain content calendars across social media, email, and web platforms, ensuring operational visibility
Collaborate with various departments to meet deadlines and align on project goals
Organize digital assets, archive files, and ensure all content follows a consistent design approach
Monitor social media engagement, web traffic, and support SEO and keyword efforts where needed
WHAT TO KNOW
This is a remote position
This is an hourly position with a starting rate of $16-$18 per hour.
Open to part-time or full-time (20-40 hours per week)

Impeccable taste with a clear eye for design
Flawless execution and high attention to detail, especially with digital product data
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and communicate progress
Deadline-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize effectively amid many moving parts
Tech-savvy and adaptable, with the ability to easily onboard to new platforms
