Design Associate

Mayker is looking for a Design Associate to join our team—a creative multitasker who thrives at the intersection of style and strategy. This is not your average design role. At Mayker, design shapes everything we do—from crafting thoughtful interior plans for clients to curating retail collections, guiding styled shoots, and lending creative direction to custom event builds.  A love for design in all its forms—and the flexibility to pivot between them—is essential.

 
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Below is an overview of the types of projects you might lead. Thoughtful planning and the ability to seamlessly manage multiple projects are essential.

Interior Design

  • Take ownership of select interior design projects, managing them from initial concept boards to final styling and installation.

  • Develop and present thoughtful design concepts tailored to client preferences, selecting furnishings and materials to bring the vision to life.

  • Coordinate with the internal team to manage product fulfillment, oversee installations, and ensure every detail feels intentional and complete.


Retail

  • Curate seasonal shop installations, creating inspired displays that highlight key collections and reflect Mayker’s style.

  • Build and refine eCommerce product collections to align with seasonal trends and client interests.


Home Staging

  • Develop design plans for staging projects, evaluating homes and specifying layouts that align with Mayker’s aesthetic.

  • Select furnishings and styling elements from Mayker’s inventory to create cohesive and inspired spaces.

  • Create client-facing collateral, such as design plans and shoppable inventory lists, to support the project and enhance client engagement.


Marketing

  • Curate design features that showcase Mayker’s house style and design capabilities, from concept development to execution.

  • Participate in styled shoots to beautifully present our brand’s work, elevating its visibility and appeal.

WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT

  • Monday - Friday work week, typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
