Delivery Supervisor

Mayker is seeking a Delivery Supervisor to provide a seamless logistics experience for our clientele. This position will serve as a team leader — preparing for events and design projects, overseeing loading and unloading of trucks, as well as supervising delivery personnel for an efficient process and positive work environment.

 
 

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Be a team leader—providing direction, encouragement, and a positive work environment. You will set the standard for how delivery members should act and work.

  • Ensure proper care, packing, and storage of our inventory (high-end, designer furniture)

  • Provide quality control, ensuring proper procedure is followed and product delivered is in top condition

  • Direct and assist in truck packing and unloading

  • Interact with clients during on-site set-up, creating a positive brand experience

  • Maintain par levels of specific equipment, supplies and products

  • Provide training for delivery team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to perform their job well

  • Maintain overall cleanliness of warehouse

  • Occasional out-of-state and weekend work is required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with other employees and upper management.

  • Have excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Current drivers license and a clean driving record

  • Ability and experience driving up to a 26’ box truck

  • Ability to carry and move up to 75 lbs.

  • Ideally will have 1+ years of related experience in the Event, Staging, or Moving Industries
